Academic Experience
Duha T. Altindag serves as an Associate Professor of Economics at Auburn University, where he specializes in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in econometrics, microeconomics, and labor economics. He has also taught advanced graduate-level courses in microeconometrics and empirical labor economics. Over his tenure, Dr. Altindag has mentored numerous Ph.D. and master’s students, guiding them through dissertation research and professional development.

His research agenda is characterized by two primary areas of focus:

• Causal Inference Using Econometric Techniques:
  • Examined labor market and education outcomes by leveraging large datasets and applying causal inference methods such as instrumental variables.
